I trained in Gestalt Therapy at Metanoia Psychotherapy Training Institute, qualifying in 1992. I have worked in private practice since 1988 with individuals, couples and groups, and also as a GP practice psychotherapist 2000-2008.

I have experience of working with a wide range of problems, including sexual and physical abuse, post-traumatic stress, loss and bereavement, relationship and career difficulties, depression and anxiety, as well as with people who wish to reassess their lives in order to enhance their personal development.

I prioritise discovering how best to work with each client, focussing on present experience set against a background of understanding their past history. I believe that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is an essential factor in the effectiveness of therapy.

I also offer supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists.

Qualifications

Dip.GPTI (1992); Accredited Member UKCP(1992); Certificate in Advanced Supervision, Centre for Staff Team Development (1997).

Fees (Therapy)

£65 per session . Reduced fees in some instances
