I am deeply passionate about learning, developing, growing.
I work in a relational, embodied, and creative way; bringing into awareness your experience of being in the world (including with me), and the choices you have, to accept your way of being or experiment with making changes. I believe change is more possible through the presence and support of another, including within the therapeutic relationship; and through relationship, there is scope for healing, improved well-being, and increased vitality.
Professionally, I’ve been involved in personal / leadership development throughout my adult life. I did my coach training with a gestalt psychotherapist, and this experience ignited my interest in gestalt-as-a-way-of-being, and brought me into training as a gestalt psychotherapist.
I fully appreciate that engaging in personal therapy requires commitment and courage – to be more fully seen, heard, and understood brings its own challenges. I feel deeply committed to playing my part, and staying alongside you, through the highs and lows of our journey together.
As part of my practice, I continue to seek ways to integrate my personal interests into my daily life, and into my therapeutic practice: connecting with nature & spirit; health & well-being; reflective writing and poetry; yoga, mindfulness, and meditation.
I have a deep interest in nature-based therapy practice; and invite clients who are interested in being outdoors for therapy sessions to be in touch
