UKCP Accreditation

The United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy is one of the main bodies for the national registration of psychotherapists.  It sets the standards for the training and accreditation of psychotherapists and holds a national database of therapists.

Once the oral exam is passed, there is an additional 150 hours required to meet the criteria for UKCP accreditation. These hours can include supervision hours and UKCP level training in Gestalt psychotherapy or other modalities.
